What is lobbying and how does it assist undocumented workers?

Is Lobbying necessary for the 6,000 construction worker quota?
Worker Canada welcomes Immigration Canada setting up the March 2025 programs to provide landed status for 6,000 undocumented construction workers.
As a lobbyist licensed by the federal government to negotiate on behalf of its undocumented worker clients applying pursuant to the March 2025 program, Worker Canada has he following priorities:
1. Stop fraudulent applicationsWorker Canada's clients are legitimate trades workers employed by legitimate      employers. We will not tolerate a flood of fake applicants drowning our client's applications.
2. Language exams
Worker Canada has already successfully cooperated with IRCC in eliminating the language requirement for Toronto's undocumented construction workers. We will continue to promote our client's interest on the important language issue.
3. Time in CanadaThe GTA construction program for undocumented workers required applicants to have been in Canada, on a continual basis for 5 years.Worker Canada believes that the 5 year rules should be replaced as follows:
a) Retain 5 year criteria for landed status;b) Add a criteria granting open work permits under an ongoing landed immigrant program for those in Canada for at least 2 continual years.
4. Recognition of regional needsThe national quota of 6,000 should be assigned by region. it would be unacceptable if any one region (e.g. one city in British Columbia) were permitted to successfully flood the system.
