IRCC:
Granted landed immigrant status to 1,000 GTA undocumented
construction workers and their families
Announced that it will grant landed immigrant status to a further 6,000 undocumented workers and their families from across Canada.
Worker Canada:
Cooperated with government in establishing realistic language criteria for the GTA Construction worker program. These criteria allowed many of the 1,000 workers to become landed
Continues to promote the interests of GTA undocumented workers including construction workers to apply successfully for the 6,000 quota.
